The owners’ brief was for a warm and inviting home that sits comfortably with the land and makes the most of its scenic position overlooking the Huon River.
In response, Cykel Architects designed a wonderfully unique home in the ‘modern farmhouse’ style, featuring natural timber finishes and framed views from every room.
Considering the bespoke nature of the build, the budget was conservative – we needed to find clever solutions to deliver the design intent.
