Clients Richard and Cam had a big vision for a very small space in the heart of Bellerive to create a new Espresso bar that acknowledged the ‘Groundsmen’ workers from nearby Blundstone Arena.
Designer Jane Hilliard of Designful created a beautiful functional inclusive space. Her ethos of using sustainable materials is evident and for our carpenters it was a pleasure to implement.

”At the end of last year we engaged Skookom to transform a very tired, small space into a highly functional, efficient, contemporary Espresso Bar. We had been impressed with their body of work and after our initial consultation with Elise and Ian, their calm and thorough approach filled us with confidence that our ideas could be realised. Their attention to detail was second to none, overseeing all tradespeople and ensuring that everything was meticulous as if it were their own home.
