For his waterside home in Bellerive, our client wanted to maximise the potential of the superlative views across the River Derwent to the city of Hobart and Mt Wellington.
There was unused space in the roof and the solution of LXN Architecture was to open this area and integrate it into the existing living spaces.

In close cooperation with the architects, Skookom created a stunning modern study area in the mezzanine, looking to the view beyond over a transformed living area, clad in recycled Tasmanian native timbers.
New decks complemented the functionality of the space, while keeping the integrity and charm of the original house.
