Ian & Elise Simondson

Owner/Director & Owner/Business Manager

Skookom owners Elise and Ian Simondson started building in 1993 and have worked together since to establish a well-earned reputation for creativity, integrity, exceptional results and outstanding client service.

Ian has extensive experience in the domestic and commercial building sectors in Tasmania, interstate and overseas, including in remote areas, as a carpenter, site supervisor, project manager, estimator, consultant and builder.

This varied experience has enhanced Ian’s technical knowledge and given him an insight into working with people from different cultures and backgrounds.

Elise was ‘on the tools’ for a period of time, this hands-on knowledge and an Interior Design Diploma gives her an unique understanding of the practical side when assisting clients with their design choices and executing her role as Skookom's business manager.

They are a strong team reinforced by their skilled and trusted trade network that pride themselves on quality service and an uncompromising attention to detail.
